Full Moon in Leo - Purification & Release

The Full Moon at 13* Leo opposes the stellium in Aquarius that is having a major impact on the collective right now. This powerful grouping of planets is bringing forth waves of change, each planet seeded by Pluto as it stands at the beginning of the new era.


All the personal planets are currently in Aquarius: Mercury, ruler of mind, thoughts and communication; Venus, ruler of relationships, gifts, talents and money; and Mars, ruler of action, will and desire. They are travelling with the Sun through the sign of universal brotherhood and sisterhood, technology, future inspiration and enlightened community. Each planet has united with Pluto, ruler of power and the shadows, and depth transformation. Each one of us, personally and collectively, is going through a major series of initiations and life transformations.


All this Aquarian energy is creating a pressure to change, sometimes forcibly. Technology is moving at lightning speed, and we are the ones who have to keep it as a servant of humanity, not the other way around. Important questions are being asked, such as, what are the new rules of community? How can we be inclusive, and maintain our individuality? What are the new rules of relationships, and how can we maintain the balance of masculine and feminine? How can we exist as natural living beings, without artificial adjuncts being imposed on us?


The Leo moon brings the balance to the Leo Aquarius axis. It reminds us of our sovereign nature and sacred individuality. Love of self does not mean love of the lower self with all its instincts and desires. True self love is love of the Divine self, the soul, and the higher nature. With so much confusion and overwhelm surrounding us, coming back to Soul will realign you and set you free.


Leo is the lion /lioness, and like Goddess Sekhmet, will realign you to the sacred fire of awareness, the Jnana Agni. When you connect to the light of your own being, the sacred fire will purify you and burn away the seeds of karma. As you align with your inner truth, strive to maintain your balance and continually course correct, the initiations you go through will not be easy. This fire is designed to purify you, and awaken you to the true reality. Soul evolution is the most difficult thing you can go through.


Neptune now stands at 0* Aries, at the very beginning of whole new zodiac cycle which takes 165 years to complete. What wisdom are we bringing with us from the last cycle? What purified awareness, what dreams and spiritual callings? What patterns do we no longer wish to repeat?


The spiritual energy of Neptune dissolves the aggression of Aries and burns through to the pure fire of spirit. Everything unnecessary will be stripped away, as Neptune calls everything back to oneness with the Law of Love.


This is the last full moon of the Year of the Snake, as we prepare to enter the Year of the Fire Horse. It is a time of intense reflection. What karmic patterns are being revealed to you now? What situations are coming to a head, what chains would you like to break, what karmic seeds do you wish to burn away?


This lunation favours a ritual of purification and release, to make way for the new. Hold your vision of the new earth, and your mission that comes direct from Soul. Deeply release and shed your old skins, until you become so vibrant and new you no longer recognise yourself.


Now is the time to die to the old. You are no longer the same person.


Allow your soul to fill you with its light, and reveal a strength and brilliance that you never imagined.
