New Moon conjunct Algol

This new moon, however, is conjunct Mercury, Uranus and fixed star Algol, R’as Al Gol, or the Head of Medusa. This star is known as an unfortunate or “unlucky” star. It is actually a binary star system that appears to ‘wink’ or blink on and off every 2.87 days. The dimmer star passes in front of the bright star, causing its brightness to dim significantly.

Many things can be said about the star Algol, however, the last degrees of Taurus are generally considered to be negative because of the stars located here.

In this case, the new moon is aligned with this star, so great care must be taken to be mindful of your thoughts and intentions, as we are generating the seeds of future creations.

Mercury Uranus conjunction

Mercury has just passed over the Sun, and is still in a tight grouping with Uranus, the Sun and Moon. This indicates a Divine message, and perhaps a surprising or shocking revelation that wants to come through.

So we have Mercury, the Divine Messenger, and Uranus, bolts from the blue, which is also conjunct Alcyone, the brightest star in the Pleiades. The power of Uranus is at its most heightened in its entire cycle around the Sun.

Darkness that must be Navigated

The Sun and Moon conjunct Algol indicate darkness that must be navigated, and broken through. Negative forces are trying to obscure the light, which is readily available when you connect to your higher self.

The key is to focus on the highest intentions of your soul. Uranus conjunct Alcyone is a once in a lifetime master conjunction, allowing the Light from the central sun to pour through into humanity.

Whatever seeds of darkness are attempting to be sown on this new moon, they will not prevail, as long as you shift your focus onto what you wish to bring through.
