We begin the month with the Sun in Virgo. In this season, we connect to the earth and the harvest of the year, giving thanks for all our blessings. The focus is on work and practical details, as we strive to perfect our gifts and do better. Mercury and Venus in Leo echo the lingering warmth of late summer, and Mars in Libra brings an intellectual focus of logic, reason and goal-oriented disscussions.


We are heading into Eclipse Season, with a lunar eclipse in Pisces, and a solar eclipse in Virgo, which is the second new moon in Virgo in a row. Eclipses are about beginnings and endings in certain areas of life; doors will close and new ones will open. Stay open to new opportunites to level up and heed your soul’s calling.


1 September: Saturn retrograde enters Pisces

Saturn, Lord of Karma retrogrades back into Pisces, and you have the opportunity to wrap up lessons from the past two and half years. Saturn in Pisces governs control of emotions, structured empathic /creative gifts and healthy boundaries.


2 September: Mercury enters Virgo

The planet of mind enters the sign of its rulership, and communications become very focused and precise. Nitpicking and perfectionism may emerge, along with the chance to get finer points across and perfect existing structures and contracts in your life.

 

5 September: Uranus retrograde

The Great Awakener begins its retograde motion until next February. Shifts become internalised; this is a powerful time for spiritual awakening and inner work.

 

5 September: Mars square Jupiter exact (active first half of September)

Mars will square Jupiter for the first half of September, bringing the urge to act and strike out, sometimes with over-confidence or recklessness. Guard against being overly optimistic, as Saturn is still retrograde and this is not a time to take uncalculated risks.

The Full Moon is conjunct the North Node, and trine Jupiter – a moon of destiny. Postively aspected, this is a time to reflect deeply on your soul purpose and find new confidence.


13 September: Mercury cazimi in Virgo

Mercury conjuncts the Sun bringing searing insights, divine revelations, and possible mental fogginess and burnout.


18 September: Mercury enters Libra

The planet of communication enters the sign of diplomacy, balance and harmony. Discussions become captivating and fruitful, with matters of law favoured.


18 September: Kite formation with Mercury, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune & Saturn

This aspect pattern will be active through the solar eclipse, with a grand air trine and a focal point on the Saturn Neptune conjunction. This brings a positive flow of communication, thoughs and ideas; with the focus on trusting your guidance and cultivating inner strength.

 

19 September: Venus Gate – Sacral Chakra

This is a power portal for healing and releasing from the sacral chakra. It is a good day to do a womb healing, releasing blocks and tapping into your creativity.


19 September: Venus enters Virgo

The Goddess of Love enters the sign of the Priestess. Love becomes earthy, sensual and refined. This Venus transit speaks of inner purity, and developing your soul gifts.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse is opposite the Saturn Neptune conjunction. This completes the eclipse window, so pay attention to your experiences of the past two weeks. A solar eclipse brings new beginnings in the house it falls in your natal chart.


22 September: Autumn Equinox – Sun enters Libra

At this time when the days and nights are equal length, the earth’s magnetic field is lowered. The Sun in Libra is part of a kite formation with Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. Libra season brings balance and harmony, logic and reason, and the quest for justice


22 September: Mars enters Scorpio

The planet of male energy, will and drive enters one of the signs of its rulership. Mars in Scorpio is strategic, passionate, intense, with a quiet hidden power and accuracy.


September is a month of beginnings and endings, soul learning and renewed focus. As we shed more layers to reveal the alchemist’s gold, we enter the season of balance and adjust the scales of karma.
