The New Moon Solar Eclipse at 29° Virgo is a potent energy clearing and a springboard into a new reality. The second new moon in Virgo this month, this is the real Black Moon, with all the power and intensity of a solar eclipse.

Virgo season began with a new moon which brought heightened discernment, house clearing, and focused new beginnings. Mid-month, we had the lunar eclipse in Pisces, which opened the eclipse portal and brought an emotional deep cleansing with the focus on relationships. Between these eclipses, an intense purging has been taking place, and you may have felt disorientated, out of sorts, spacey, emotional, or with a feeling of being in between worlds.

This period is coming to a close now, and with the solar eclipse, it is time to wrap up issues that have been surfacing. Doors will close and new ones will open – do not hold onto things you have been clearly shown you must let go of. Holding on will only bring pain.

The 29^th degree of a sign is extremely potent, bringing the essence and all the learning of that sign. In Virgo, this speaks of discernment, precision, purification, honing and refining your gifts, harvesting the abundance you have created so far, and walking forwards in humility and service.

In the wheatsheaf of the virgin, in the constellation of Virgo, blazes the star Spica, a star of brilliance and divine light, a star of realising your highest potential.

In order to realise your highest potential, you must let everything that is not that fall away. In addition to this, immense energy and focus are needed, to gain the power to hold your mind in the light, and become the essence of brilliance itself.

This is a partial solar eclipse, however, the effects are still felt, as the moon moves in close alignment to the sun. You are being given a chance to reset, reboot, and clear away the old, stepping forward with renewed radiance and fresh energy.

The houses where the solar and lunar eclipses fall in your chart are significant. The degrees of 15 Pisces and 29 Virgo will show you the activation points. The lunar eclipse was about clearing out old emotional energy and past relationships. This has been particularly deep, as the esoteric ruler of Pisces, Pluto, is out of bounds, meaning its power is unrestrained. Pisces is the sign of death, and Pluto destroys and clears away. So if you have had very deep issues surfacing, which you thought you had healed, do not feel you are going backwards. All healing has an effect. This is like a deep wringing out of the last traces that are still held in your fields.

As we approach the solar eclipse, the focus is on releasing and letting go. When you bring your conscious attention to what you wish to release, and set your intentions, the process will be more effective. The key is to always come back to your centre, into your body, into your heart, and find the source of your own light. If you have given your power away and leaked your energy, focusing on others, it is time to call it back now.

On this new moon, there is a powerful Kite formation in the sky. The Sun and Moon are opposite the Saturn Neptune conjunction, straddling Pisces and Aries. Saturn in Pisces reminds you to hold firm boundaries and master your emotions and energetic sensitivity, echoing the themes of these eclipses. Neptune in Aries longs for new beginnings, yet, to really step forward with full power, first you must release all the baggage that is weighing you down.

The kite is formed by a grand trine surrounding this opposition, with Uranus, Pluto and the new moon. In the elements of air and also earth, this brings a flow of communication, and the ability to manifest ideas in the earth element. Manifestations must come from your soul, and be a part of your soul plan, to really come to fruition. If you focus on manifesting self-serving desires only, these will come at a cost. The cost is accelerated soul evolution, which eventually brings you back to the same place.

Venus and Mars are forming mystical quincunxes which weave into this powerful alignment, bringing opportunities to balance and heal the feminine and masculine energies. This new moon brings the potential to completely break out of the box, realign your reality and reset your soul plan.
