New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius - Taking the Reins of the Fire Horse

The Year of the Fire Horse starts with an explosive energy. The New Moon in Aquarius heralds the beginning of Chinese New Year, which gives the underlying influence of this cycle. We are moving from the Year of the Wood Snake, which has been filled with the energies of soul evolution, wisdom, healing and profound transformation. This deep yin energy is moving into an extremely accelerated yang energy, and all the wisdom you have accumulated will be put to active use.

The past year has been about shedding your skins, dying to old versions of you, and releasing pain, trauma and baggage from the past. If you have surrendered, moved with these energies and let go of what was weighing you down, you will start this new year fresh and ready to hit the ground running.

The new moon in Aquarius is significant because we are now entering the Age of Aquarius, and we have Pluto at the beginning of this sign, tearing down old structures and outdated ways of thinking. The new moon is in a tight square to Uranus, the ruler of this sign. This causes a collective pressure to move into the new. How can we hold new structures of community? How can we break the chains of the mind and step into enlightened thinking? How can we connect to spirit and receive genius inspirations, as we embody our Divinity and move to the next level of evolution?

Many souls are aware of this shift, and the collective consciousness is raising in frequency, coming to the critical mass point.

The energy within you is much stronger than you think. Indeed, it is indestructible like a diamond. This is why the Tibetans called it the Diamond Body - the Vajra Body or Dorje. When your energy is clear and strong, it is pure and crystalline like a diamond.

The more you cultivate the energy within you, the more you will move through life with ease and grace, navigating tough situations and difficult people with the strength of spirit. Truly the Source of All Things is more powerful than a nuclear explosion, and you carry a spark of this energy in your heart.

The Fire Horse is all about cultivating and harnessing the inner fire, the strength of your own spirit, and taking the reins of the chariot. You are Sovereign and Divine. When you control your own chariot, you cannot be controlled by anyone or anything.

The Square from Uranus is saying, how much have you transformed? How strong are you under pressure? How much have you cultivated your Will, and strength of spirit? Will you fall at the first hurdle, or will you rely on your inner wisdom and use what you have learned?

When you truly know the teachings from within, this is when you discover the Diamond Body.

The Solar Eclipse visible in the Southern Hemisphere will affect you according to which house it is in. This area of life will show accelerated change in the coming months.

The Sun, Moon, Mars and Pluto are all in Aquarius, bringing the breeze of change, and the electrical currents of life-force energy into all that is. Venus rises from the underworld on this day, resplendent as the Evening Star. This symbolises Inanna rising from the underworld, ready to ascend through the chakra gates to reclaim her crown. In the Pisces goddess cycle, you may feel like you have experienced losses and endings. Now is the time to reclaim your wisdom, your birthright, and the spiritual wealth that is rightfully yours.

Venus is conjunct the North Node in Pisces, bringing awareness of the need to cultivate sensitivity in relationships, compassion and understanding, and the ability to connect to your higher guidance. Pisces heals with emotional authenticity, vulnerability and pure presence.

Saturn and Neptune are approaching exact conjunction on 20 February, which is also a momentous date. This resets the cosmic clock to the zero point at 0* Aries. As we leap into the year of the Fire Horse, Saturn and Neptune join in a new cycle of fire, seeding our dreams with action, aliveness, and pioneering spirit.

There is no need to ask permission or be told what to do. Each one of us is a sovereign being. You create through sheer will. As the element of fire flows through this year, your own will becomes the activator and initiator. It is time to leave aside what others think, and the mental prison of the past.
