The Secret of the Desert


What is the secret of the desert?


Is it the beauty of gently undulating sand dunes, exquisite rock formations, and a profound sense of silence?


The dripping colours of liquid sunsets, reflecting on the blanched landscape, giving way to mysterious dusk, revealing the starry night?


The lapis dome of the heavens sprinkled with myriad constellations, a living, breathing, celestial sphere covering you at night?


Is it the thrill of driving in jeeps with the wind in your hair, gliding over vast stretches of sand, zig zagging along the dunes, and plummeting down steep drops?


A Sense of Freedom


Or is it the sense of freedom that comes from being completely away from the world, with just a brightly coloured Bedouin tent and delicious food cooked over the fire?


Maybe it is the bliss of an oasis pool, the cooling waters refreshing you in the blazing heat of Ra, and the palm trees giving you shade.


Maybe it is the company of the carefree Bedouins with hearts full of joy.


The truth is, it is all of these things, and yet still more.

On My Desert Journey


On my desert journey I felt a profound sense of connection. The desert is an intact landscape, and as such, is a living part of Gaia. Vast and unspoiled, the desert has a voice, and it speaks to you. All you have to do is be silent, and listen. The power of the landscape is palpable.


The wind in the dunes makes an ethereal humming sound, and, sometimes, after sunset, you feel a magical energy with a living, breathing pulse.


The desert has a consciousness.


When you feel yourself merging with a consciousness so vast, you feel a sense of humility, and awe.


When you lay down at night, on the firm silky sand, and gaze at the stars, the consciousness of earth and sky are united within you. You are able to know yourself as a human being – a living conduit between earth and heaven.


Many shamanic experiences and spiritual truths can be known and lived in this sacred environment.


The Desert Speaks to You


The desert reveals who you are and what you are carrying. Your state of mind shows up against a backdrop of silence, emptiness, and grounded holding.


You realise how much has been going on beneath the surface, under the noise of civilisation. Another layer of skin can be shed, like the serpent, who leaves behind that which restricts and inhibits new growth.


An even deeper secret of the desert, is that it allows you to leave behind what you are carrying. Layers of density can be shed, as the crystalline mineral landscape holds, stores and transforms.

Physical, Emotional & Spiritual Healing


Any physical ailments you have, can be transmuted in this ground. Bone and joint problems often stem from energetic density the body is holding onto. For protection, for armouring, for remembering, for safety. If you allow it, you can be once again light and full of energy, emerging vibrant and free.


It is the same with mental and emotional burdens. When you truly intend to release and let go, these energies can be transformed within you, supported by the crystalline landscape, under the sun and stars.


When you genuinely work with the secret of the desert, untold magic can happen.

The desert is a place where you can truly feel your place in the cosmos.


A World Out of Balance


This world is a world out of balance, because humans have lost their place in the cosmos. Divorced from nature, drenched in EMFs, humans in cities have become detached from the field of Gaia, the Schuman resonance and the Source frequency. This leads to sickness and mental disturbances. Feeling alone, feeling a sense of not belonging, confusion and disconnection.


In the desert you can find clarity and belonging. Once you restore your place in nature and the elements, good health and peace of mind will follow.


The Desert has Power and Energy


The desert has power and energy, the desert has a voice.


The desert will hold you, and allow you to gently lay your burdens down.
