June Energies – Midsummer Solstice

Greetings Beautiful Soul

Welcome to the month of June, with its energies of burgeoning life. We are approaching the Summer Solstice, the peak of the solar light and energy of the year. The Sun, Mercury and Jupiter will all be entering Cancer, the sign of the emotional waters, bringing the emphasis onto home and family, and appreciating time spent with friends and loved ones.

Mid-month the Mars Uranus square and Jupiter Saturn square may create some tension, bringing pressure to act and move forwards, while at the same time being pragmatic and grounded.

Saturn and Neptune are travelling together in early Aries, one degree apart, heralding the new era of heeding your spiritual calling and taking bold action on your dreams.

06 June: Venus enters Taurus

The Goddess of Love is at home in her own sign. This is a time for sensuality and enjoyment of simple pleasures, creative pursuits of all kinds, enjoying time in nature, and getting loved up and romantic.

08 June: Mercury Jupiter conjunction @29° Gemini

The planet of mind and the planet of wisdom conjoin in the 29th degree of Gemini. This is an amazing time to meditate and receive enlightening insights on the nature of life, also to communicate your message to a wider audience.

08 June: Mercury enters Cancer

The Divine Messenger enters the sign of emotional mastery. Communications may be more touchy and sensitive, and feeling focused. A good time to communicate how you feel, when people are receptive.

09 June: Jupiter enters Cancer

The planet of expansive wisdom changes sign, from the fast moving air of Gemini, to the watery realms of Cancer. Jupiter will be magnifying the qualities of this sign, which are strong emotions, changeable moods, nurturing, mothering, security, psychic abilities, vivid dreams, emphasis on home and family. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, and this transit brings a beautiful sense of abundance, nurturing and security,

11 June: Full Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius 07.43 GMT/UT

The full moon in Sagittarius is the wisdom moon, illuminating the sign of the sage. The major aspect to the full moon is a trine to Mars in Leo, bringing aligned actions and creativity.

14 – 15 June: Mars Uranus square

This aspect can bring volatility, conflict and unpredictable events. Make sure to allow extra time for travel, and take it easy, carrying your inner calm with you.

14 – 18 June: Jupiter Saturn square

This slow moving aspect is exact on these dates. It brings a tension between expansion and contraction, movement and restraint, risk-taking and caution. Be sure to find the balance in your decision making.

17 June: Mars enters Virgo

The planet of active male energy enters detail oriented Virgo. This is a great time for highly skilled work, attention to detail and perfecting your craft. Virgo is the sign of the priestess path and the sacred work. This is a sacred divine masculine transit, bringing out qualities of humility and service.

21 June: Summer Solstice - Sun enters Cancer 02.43 GMT /UT

The solar light reaches its peak, with the longest day in the Northern hemisphere. The Sun enters the sign of Cancer and the emotional waters. Feelings may arise to be honoured and acknowledged, in cardinal water the sign of emotional mastery.

22 June: Venus Gate – Moon Venus conjunction @16° Taurus

Venus reaches the Throat Chakra Gate - on the Descent of Inanna. Your voice seeks expression, as you remove communication blocks.

24 June: Sun Jupiter conjunction @3° Cancer

Three days after the Solstice we have this beautiful conjunction where the Sun illuminates and Jupiter magnifies the qualities of Cancer. Expect unexpressed emotions to emerge, and your true feelings about situations to be known. This energy brings home the importance of love, nurturing and true security versus the soulless profit driven structures we are surrounded by.

25 June: New Moon in Cancer 10.31 GMT /UT

The new moon is conjunct Jupiter, sextile Mars, and square Saturn and Neptune. This is a moon of big feelings, with the emphasis on home, family and loved ones. This is the driving force behind decisions and courses of action made at this time.

26 June: Mercury enters Leo

The planet of communication enters the flamboyant sign of the lion, and interactions become passionate and creative. Expect a certain amount of drama, infused with good humour, and the ability to express your confidence and sovereignty to others.
