2020 is set to be a powerful year in many ways. We are kicking off with the Saturn Pluto conjunction on 12th January, the effects of which will be felt throughout the year as the aspect gradually separates. We have been feeling the buildup to this conjunction as a sense of increasing pressure, and urgency to get things right.
All over the world things seem to be at crisis point, indeed at tipping point. We have climate emergencies, forest fires, flooding, earthquakes and tsunamis, chaotic weather, mass extinctions, polluted air and oceans; countries on the brink of war; the threat of 5G and “smart” infrastructure; the ongoing financial and economic crises, and people still living in poverty while governments spend the lion’s share of their money on the military machine.
This is the time that has been prophecied in many cultures. The Native American prophecy of the Whirling Rainbow speaks of these times, and a new tribe of people who will arise to make the earth green again. Mother Gaia is doing what she must do, to bring the balance back. This can be felt as violent and extreme.
Pluto has been moving through Capricorn since 2008. Pluto destroys and transforms, as it initiates the process of death and rebirth. The old established structures have been breaking down, and corruption and decay revealed. What is rotten must come out in order for new life to flourish. We have seen revolution and upheaval in all areas of life, all over the world, and Pluto isn’t finished yet as it will be in Capricorn until 2023.
As Pluto conjoins with Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, we experience a marriage of two extremely powerful planets. Pluto destroys as Saturn rebuilds. So we have an opportunity now to build anew, and put healthy structures in place. Saturn is a tough taskmaster though, and everything you are building and creating must be sound in terms of the material world, time, karma and universal laws. This is no time for shortcuts or excessive risk taking.
The numerology of 2020 is a universal 4 vibration, which is all about building the foundations. After a 3 year of growth and expansion, we now have to put in the work, and get serious about exactly what needs to be done. 4 is the number of earth, structure and form. It is also the number of the regenerative energies of the universe. 3 and 4 are the numbers of creation, so 2019 and 2020 are opportunities to create. Birthing is a messy process, and we have all been feeling the labour pains. This year we are working with a different energy, and we will be able to ground much of what we reached out and connected with last year.
The double 20 vibration is also important. The number 20 is the Awakening, and the Judgement card in the Tarot. The card depicts figures rising up out of tombs, as Archangel Gabriel sounds his trumpet of awakening. This is what needs to happen this year. We all need to awaken. The truth is, people will awaken out of their tombs, because the majority of people on the planet are living under the illusion of the false matrix, and therefore not really living. Enslaved and mind-controlled, they have no idea what is going on behind the scenes of their ‘Truman Show’ world.
The Judgment /Awakening card is attributed to Pluto, so this intensifies the strong Plutonian influence of this year. The Hebrew letter associated with this is Shin, which means a tooth, or a serpent’s fang. This serpent’s tooth rips down and destroys all that is false, as this is what needs to happen in order for true awakening to occur. So as these powerful events transpire around us, it is good to keep in mind the overall awakening of humanity, and the rebalancing and shifting of Mother Gaia. Hold your Light. Maintain your frequency. This is what we are here for.
These are tough energies to be working with for sure. It may seem like the little we can do is not enough. All each of us can do is connect with the voice of our soul everyday, and our divine blueprint. As we reach out and connect with others, doing the work we are here to do, the new earth will take shape as it already is. This is a true test of faith, and trust. Dig deep, do your personal healing, care for those in your community. Care for Mother Earth. Create new community. Follow your soul’s calling, and manifest your heart’s desire.
Love is the answer, it always has been and it always will be.
