Black Moon Super Moon in Virgo 30 August - Crystalline Brilliance
This New Moon occurs at 10.37 UT on Friday 30th August, at 6 degrees of Virgo.
Keywords are: resest, realign, reorder, recreate, purify, alchemise, change, devotion, abundance, priest, priestess, brilliance, awakening, union, earth element, crystalline, purity.
This lunation is extremely powerful due to several major aspects in the sky. We have a stellium in Virgo with all the personal planets; a trine to Uranus in Taurus; a Grand Trine in Earth with Saturn in Capricorn; and also a major T-square involving Jupiter and Neptune.
What does it mean to have all the personal planets in Virgo? The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars represent the life path, emotional world, communication, relationships, active energy, inner and outer, masculine and feminine aspects. For these all to be in Virgo, tightly packed together, is an opportunity to resest, reorder and literally recreate our whole lives.
Virgo is an earth sign, ruled by the crystallising consciousness. The path of Virgo is a constant process of purification, alchemy, honing and refining ones gifts. We now have an opportunity to unite all the disparate parts of ourselves, our body, mind, emotions, spiritual bodies, karma and ancestral lines. Consciously feel that unification process, as you coalesce like a child taking shape in the womb.
Virgo relates to health and healing, and this is a time to find true health in wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Let the light shine from within. In the tarot, Virgo is the Hermit, the Seeker, shining their torch in the darkness.
In the constellation of Virgo, she is a virgin priestess, a pure tantrika, carrying the wheatsheaf of abundance. True abundance may be found in the process of separating out the impurities of life, and keeping what is beautiful and useful, until you are left with pure gold. In the wheatsheaf of the Virgin is the star Spica, one of the brightest stars in the sky, representing brilliance. It is time to find your brilliance, and truly excel at being you.
Virgo is also about devotion to the sacred work, being humble, and finding practical ways to serve. This is something we can all do right now. We can all make small changes with a view to planetary healing, and manifesting the New Earth. We can take action, sign petitions, raise awareness, choose which products to consume, and connect with others in loving service. Whatever you can do, will help to shift the collective.
All of these personal planets are in trine to Uranus in Taurus, meaning there is a flowing, beneficial energy between them. Uranus the Great Awakener is transforming the physical world through a series of powerful events. This is the planet of rebellion, change, and bringing in the new. So we all have the chance to do something that benefits the earth, while the planets are being activated in this way with lightening bolts of divine inspiration.
Uranus is also in trine to Saturn in Capricorn, forming a Grand Earth Trine with the stellium in Virgo. There is a huge amount of positive earth energy right now, helping us to root down and build solid foundations. Make use of this energy to crystallise, create and manifest your dreams. It is time to bring the ethereal into the physical realms.
Neptune in Pisces is opposite Venus in Virgo, forming a T-square with Jupiter in Sagittarius. This is about personal love and Divine love, earthly relationships becoming divine vessels, and the priest /priestess awakening to their calling. Jupiter is insisting on freedom and expansion, movement and adventure, bringing the highest truth into your ventures. Consciousness will have its expansion as you recreate your life. Don’t focus on limitations, simply align with the future you wish to be living in and call it forth.
This New Moon in Virgo is powerful and divine. Whatever you wish to make it, create it now. Bring through the purity of your spirit, and realign with Mother Earth, this body and this life. You can do more than you imagine.
