New Moon in Virgo – Return to Purity

The New Moon at 0° Virgo is a potent force of creation. 0° carries the pure essence of this sign. The qualities of dedicated work, humble service and new growth are favoured at this time, as you decide where to focus your energy and make the commitment to new life.

 

In the past month, we have walked through the fires of Leo, the rising of Sirius and the communication glitches of Mercury retrograde. The energies have been intense. With this new moon, you are reminded to come back to simplicity and purity, draw your energy back into yourself, and realise you are complete and whole.

 

Virgo is the sixth sign, of fruition and perfection. The original spark of Aries is made manifest in the womb of the virgin. Esoterically, this sign relates to sacred pregnancy, and the potential of matter to be redeemed by spirit.

 

The new moon is a time to pause, reflect and go inward. You may like to ask yourself, what are you creating? Are you happy with your creations? What would you like to create?

 

Virgo is the sign of sacred service, and the ancient priestess who dedicated her life to the temple, the house of the Divine. When you view your life as a sacred work, and your body as a temple, filled every day with divine breath, this gives purpose and meaning. You are creating from your soul, and continually evolving and perfecting your gifts and abilities.

 

As we consciously strive to perfect ourselves, releasing old patterns and behaviours; letting go of emotional loops and outdated karma; we continually refine the alchemist’s gold within. This gold of pure love and wisdom grows stronger than our patterns, and enables us to maintain that inner purity and not be swayed by external situations.

 

The new moon is aspected by an almost exact square to Uranus. This may feel like instability, as you stand on the verge of manifesting your new creations. The pressure being applied is asking you to level up, and shift your life. No more excuses. Sudden changes, communications from the blue, new directions, and surprising revelations may occur. If things feel shaky, this is to be expected. Remember to hold your line. Inner strength, focus and direction are all important as you navigate the swirling currents of life.

 

The new moon is making a rare quintile aspect to Pluto, bringing twists of fate, and the ability to connect with hidden knowledge. If you are faced with turmoil, deep down, your soul knows the answer. Pluto in Aquarius is transforming our communities. At this time, you may receive deeper insights into your role in this, and what needs to be done to create healthy communities. We can all be agents of transformation in our lives; we just need to step up and act on what we know to be true.

 

The new moon is making another quintile to the Saturn Neptune conjunction. This conjunction brings positives and negatives; some feel it is bringing more worry and fear and pulling the collective energy down. However, it also brings the ability to break down walls, dissolve obstacles, release karma, and stand strong in your spiritual guidance and inner knowing. With the aspect to the new moon, much creative energy can be accessed, and you may realise that what seemed like blocks do not really have any substance at all.  

 

On this new moon, draw your power back into yourself. Clear your mind, and focus on what you wish to manifest and create. Changes happening now are for the best; allow things to exit your life if they need to. Soul contracts may end and new ones begin; look to the future and release excess baggage.

 

Inside you a diamond is being birthed – fall in love with that radiance.

 

Allow yourself to return to purity – the purity from which all things come.

 

The 0° is like zero point of creation; the Fool in the tarot; the alpha and the omega contained within a perfect cosmic egg.

 

From this place, you may recreate your life with more power and purpose; more integrity and dedication; more humility and more grace.
