The Full Moon in Cancer brings into play all the deep emotions that we are releasing from the past year. The moon will conjunct Jupiter a few hours after the exact full moon, bringing a swell of emotional energy. With the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus all in Capricorn, the predominant themes at this time are business, finances, and putting practical structures in place. The Cancer moon reveals your underlying emotional state, and what you need to acknowledge and purge in order to move forwards with your endeavours.

This full moon is very special as it is conjunct the star Sirius. As the Moon reflects the purifying energies of this star, a realignment is occurring. Truths will be revealed, as the underlying fabric of existence is one reality. Those who compartmentalise and hide secrets behind locked doors may find things are exposed and brought to light. As the collective frequencies rise, so does what is visible and what can be perceived by the masses. Truth is like an iceberg: instead of seeing unrelated islands of ice, the whole thing comes into view when you can see underwater. Things click into place. This is all part of the realignment and raising of collective frequencies, and the resulting higher awareness that is available to us.

The Sun is travelling closely aligned with Mars and Venus, illuminating the masculine and feminine energies in the sign of Capricorn, the master builder. Venus in Capricorn is the practical and strategic feminine, the earth mother, wisdom keeper and record holder. Mars in Capricorn is the architect, the engineer, and the impetus for the project. Much can be achieved at this time with focused intention. The Moon in Cancer conjunct Sirius reminds us of our cosmic origins, and the need for soul alignment in all that we do.

This lunation is asking you to check your intentions, and your motivations. Are you acting in complete integrity? Are you able to reflect on your actions and karmic choices, and take responsibility? The only thing that matters is being true to yourself, and truthful to yourself. Then you will naturally be truthful to others, and see this reflected in your external world.

The full moon is loosely conjunct Jupiter, and will come into exact alignment later this night. Jupiter is retrograde, and the overall effect of this is like a wrap-up and culmination of the emotional residue of the past year, the results of karmic situations, and the completion of the nine year cycle. What lessons are you being shown concerning relationships; the way you manage emotions, and emotional triggers? This is also calling you to look at home and family, and loved ones, and what really matters to you. Jupiter will be in Cancer until the end of June. What can you put in place to improve the security for your loved ones, while developing your inner emotional security and stability?

This full moon is about coming home to yourself. Now is the time to plan a strategic course of action to live the life you dream of, develop your soul gifts, and find your place in the great plan. Anything out of alignment will show itself, and newfound truths must be embraced as part of the journey of acceptance, remembering, and coming closer to the Divine. Give thanks for all your connections, soul contracts, beginnings and endings, for they all assist you in your journey back to self.

In this month of January, we are now at the beginning of a 1 year, yet we are sill at the end of the year of the Snake. This has the effect of karmic acceleration. Think of coils unwinding very fast as they are released. Take care not to get whiplash, as events unfold and situations come to a head. Awareness is key, as is focusing on the new and the way forward. It is better to let go and allow clean breaks to happen naturally as forwards is the only way to go.

Full Moon Blessings
