On this retreat you will have the space to really be present in your heart, and listen to the stories your heart has to tell you.  Surrounded by a lush forested valley, in the heat of the Portugal sun, you will be able to breathe and let go of your daily concerns.  Living close to nature, in beautiful tipis, we will gather for meditation, yoga, and transformational journeys.  You will be free to integrate these experiences while walking in the valley, swimming in the river, chilling in hammocks and just being.

Shamanic Journeying  We will gather in the yurt for shamanic journeying with drumming, and guided meditations to find answers for your path. You will journey to meet your guides, and gain understanding of your relationships, your work, career, soul path and dreams or any issues that are troubling you. 

Heart Centred Practices   You will learn heart expanding practices for connecting to spirit and finding answers, aligning with your soul path, and for strengthening your energy field and raising your vibration.  You will learn how to transmute emotions and trauma held in the cellular memory into a higher state of consiousness, freeing up your energy for your Life Purpose.  This is divine alchemy of the heart, and it will change your life forever. 


Solar Codes   In the hot Portugal sun, we will have the opportunity to work with the Solar Codes, the light codes in the solar rays that contain consciousness, love and intelligent information.

Forrest Yoga

There will be yoga classes every morning with Mel on the beautiful outdoor decking amongst the trees, she will be teaching the perfect style of yoga for this chilled transformational retreat. 

When practicing Forrest you can expect some aspects of Sivananda Yoga, also the attention of alignment and use of props found in Iyengar Yoga alongside the heat and flow of Ashtanga Vinyasa. This sequence teaches you to dig deep and find your inner truth, being not only a strong practice on the mat but also off the mat encouraging you to take the gift of yoga into your everyday lifestyle. 

Forrest yoga is an uplifting and inspiring practice that will build flexibility, intelligence and strength to help deepen the relationship within your authentic self.  An all level practice that is also perfect for beginners.

This is an amazing opportunity to have space and time for yourself, experience being at one with nature in a secluded valley, listen to the heartbeat of Mother Earth, and journey deeper into your own heart. With plenty of free time to explore, bask in the sun, cool off in the river, and connect with like-minded others, you will be able to find clarity on your soul path and life purpose.


You will learn techniques to connect to spirit through your heart, find answers and access your own truth. Wake in the morning and experience forrest yoga amongst the trees, to anchor and embody your transformations. The sun will be in Leo and there is also a full moon during the retreat!  We will gather around the fire with drumming and song, sacred ceremony, conversation, connection and community.

Retreat Location: Gravito, a stunning eco retreat centre located in the forested hills of Beira Baixa, central Portugal, a region of lakes and rivers. Remotely situated in a self-contained valley with a river and lush spring, surrounded by oaks, pines, heather and ferns. The centre is created from a reclaimed hamlet and utilises the principles of sacred geometry and permaculture, and practises sustainability and forest preservation.

Retreat Price: £550  inclusive of food and accommodation for 5 nights

Price does not include flights, so make sure you get them booked early! Transfers can be arranged on request.

Lisbon and Porto airports and both approximately 2 hours by train, coach or car from Gravito.

Glamping tipis are luxuriously furnished with beds and bedlinen, lights, and wooden floors.  Participants will sleep in shared tipis, private tipis may be booked with a single /double occupancy surcharge.  Please get special sharing requests in early! 


Bathroom facilities are provided, as is a beautiful dining room so there is plenty of comfort along with the camping / glamping!  Please bring eco toiletries or they can be provided.

Katy Keel - Retreat Leader

Katy is a healer, teacher, wellness coach and groupleader who teaches courses, runs regular women's circles and meditation groups, and holds transformational retreats in Glastonbury and sacred sites around the world.  Katy is passionate about bringing people together for self-empowerment and mastery, and loves working with sacred sites and astrological portals, incorporating shamanic, spiritual and alchemical processes into her work.  With 16 years experience in the field of holistic health and wellbeing, she brings a wealth of experience to her retreats and private sessions.

Mel Lowe Fismer - Forrest Yoga Teacher

Mel is a full time yoga teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience. She teaches a variety of styles including Forrest, Vinyasa, Traditional Hatha & Yoga Nidra as well as Hot Yoga. Her classes are fun & dynamic yet always kind & inclusive. There is a strong focus on breath awareness as well as a deep connection to the core. Students are encouraged to shift their attention from the thinking mind into the feeling body thereby creating freedom of expression & the courage to walk as spirit dictates.
